Strut for Strays 5K 2026 was a huge success!

So many people came out to participate in our 12th annual Strut for Strays 5K, and it was the most beautiful day we could have asked for! We raised a total of $5,719 with this event, which is HUGE, and we are so grateful to everyone who came. Blissful Brew Coffee had very delicious drinks available, and donated a portion of their proceeds to the shelter. Healthy Community Coalition from MaineHealth came to inform folks about the dangers of second and third-hand smoke on our pets. Austin brought the "Dog of Honor", Ninja, and we even had some staff run the race! 

This little shelter would not be able to offer homeless pets the level of care that we do in this facility without our community support, so we offer you a big round of applause and tons of gratitude.
